Day 10- Meditation

Good day everyone. Hope you are having an amazing Friday.

TGIF!!!

Yesterday was all about loving yourself and how love literally makes the world go round!
Today is going to be about the numerous wonderful benefits of meditation and how to incorporate a daily routine into your lifestyle.

Meditation is one of the most amazing discoveries that I've ever come across in my life.
Not only is it very relaxing, it has made me discover who I truly am.

I have just been practicing daily meditation for a month and here are 10 of some of the positive changes I've seen in myself:

1. I am more self aware. Getting in tune with my true nature was the greatest gift I have ever received. Not only has it liberated me, it has also made me much happier and more enlightened.

2. I am never worried about anything or anyone. Clearing my thoughts has helped me to be able to rationalize situations easily and solve them as immediate as I can. If there is absolutely nothing in my power  I can do to change the situation, I just let it go now. I just have faith that my intentions will manifest by God's grace.

3. I sleep soundly through the night. Before I started meditating regularly, I used to sleep for about 8-10 hours while probably tossing and turning all night, and then wake up not refreshed. I would have to drag myself out of bed every morning and feel tired all day. Now, I sleep for about 6-7 hours everyday and wake up at 5 am, so refreshed and bursting with energy! I don't even need an alarm to wake up anymore.

4. I am more spiritual. I was never really someone who thought about things like religion and spirituality so much. Well, until I needed something really bad from God, but at least I tried to be a good child of my parents.... Now, I am more in tune with God than anything else. I do appreciate my soul a lot more and try to nurture her by being as good as I possibly can.

5. I am more grateful. I know I have taken a lot of things for granted in the past. I am definitely trying to be a better person everyday, so I thank God for even just waking up in the morning, or the food I'm eating, or the roof over my head... Because I know it could all be taken away in a second! I am also grateful for all the good things to come as well!

6. I am living a much healthier lifestyle. I now exercise a lot more, eat a vegetarian diet and use my phone less. This has given my body so much vitality and made my skin very radiant. I am definitely more in love with nature now.

Bare faced :D

7. I am a more loving and caring person to myself and the world. I always try to put myself in other people's shoes, be less critical and judgmental of people than ever before.

8. I am more goal oriented and organized. I try to visualize my day everyday now while meditating and  it usually goes as planned. Before that, life seemed out of my control and I was always thrown curve balls all the time.

9. I am more balanced and always calm. I used to be quite moody and always complained or played the victim. I never owned up responsibility on my part to how I contributed to sour situations, but I didn't care. I was too selfish and self absorbed. Now, I feel like a totally different, more emotionally balanced person.

10. I am a very positive and optimistic person. Meditation led me to this positive affirmations challenge which has helped me tremendously. I have definitely learned from my past mistakes and just want to be a better person overall!

Here are some other 76 scientific benefits of meditation alone.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg...

As you can see, I really love what meditation has done for me. There are zero downsides to these simple breathing techniques. But the upsides are close to miraculous!

Daily Practice:

You can watch this video to get started on a consistent daily routine:

Here are some tips I have on daily meditation and how I do my routine:
1. Set out at least 10-15 minutes in a day where you can be by yourself and relax. And try to schedule it at the same time everyday for consistency.

2. To make sure I start the day with a sense of calm, I meditate in the morning as soon as I wake up. You can also meditate at night before going to bed as well, which will even make you sleep better.

3. I usually go to You tube and search for meditation videos, depending on what I feel on meditating on. Like if I meed more love in my life, or more money or being more positive or being more focused, etc..

4. After meditation, I say my prayers and then make a visual plan in my head of how I want my day to go.

5. You can make your own routine by searching online and seeing what works for you.

Please join me today and start a meditation routine today!

Have an amazing relaxing day!
